I am considering making a newtoian reflector telescope in the eight to twelve inch range. I have been unable to find a web sight that answers the question concerning the material and even the shape of the primary mirror definitively

Sean asked: And if so which ones would you suggest.
I might be interesting in one a little higher if it’s worth the difference? What would be a good higher priced telescope.

But of Course asked: I would really like to see Saturn’s rings and cloud detail on Jupiter. If I could see Neptune too, that would be awesome.
I’d also like for it to be compatible with Microsoft’s WorldWide Telescope, and under $800.
Anybody know of one?

Hello-
I received a Baytronic Telescope as a gift and the instructions on just focusing the telescope are primative. Could someone please help me with a set up guide to focusing this telescope for viewing the Moon. I would love to view the Moon tonight.
Thanks, Bobby S
Also, on the front do you take off one small cover or both or the whole thing.
My mistake- On the front there is a small cover. Do you take this off or the whole front cover to view.
I am very new to this hobby as you can tell.

Agnostic asked:
Hello,
I’m a beginner at using a telescope and I’m planning on buying one within the next week. I want to find something fairly cheap (about $100.00 to $200.00). I plan on using it a lot so I don’t want something too cheap, something that will be good for looking at planets. Also, when choosing a telescope I know I have to think about where I will be using it, I will be using it in an suburban area with moderat light and pollution. Please let me know what you think would be a great telescope for me. Thanks!
