gwiz20002002 asked:
I mean the earth is round but to us it looks flat because we’re sort of at the microscopic level. Anyways couldn’t we see into space by looking through a telescope held parallel (horizontal) to the ground. In considering this question keep in mind that it’s hypothetical so disregard trees, mountains, ect.

Charlie S asked: I’ve heard that astronauts put mirrors on the moon that we can reflect lasers off of. Are there any pictures of these or any other objects available? Surely we must be able to see the lunar landers, rovers and other equipment using a powerful telescope?
Also, can you give me website with high-quality, high-resolution lunar landscape photos?

Sciguy asked: I just got the Phillips SPC900NC for use with my C10.
What steps should I take to get this to work with my scope.
What are the differences between the toucam and the spc900nc?
Everyone with a telescope seems to have this webcam, but I doubt they perform all of the solider work I have seen on the internet to get it to do long exposure photography. Are those steps only specific to the older Toucam?
Thanks in advance.

Saucy Spider asked:
I want a good but not too expensive telescope for general stargazing but don’t know what the difference is between refracting and reflecting. Which is the best for a novice?

debernator11 asked:
I’m completely new to the game of astronomy of stargazing and would like to purchase a telescope. I looked everywhere and there’s way too many selections and mechanical functions. I live in the city and the lights here are so saturated I wonder if it’s worth buying. It would be my goal to see stars and comets and hopefully planets. Thanks.
