Can I use my telescope inside my room and point it out the window for astrophoto?
manoftrust72 asked:
I like to use the telescope inside which is much more comfortable for me, and without opening the windows, it is clean glass windows. Would it see the stars and everything as well as taking astrophoto as good as it is outside?

Window glass is not of optical quality. It will cause blurring of the images. You must be outdoors to use a telescope properly. Geoff G

Be honest….You really want to scope out the hottie in the house next to you. Im sure you have realized that its far more obvious when you are outside than say in a dark room with the windows closed. Perv… Tom

No. Window glass is not the same as optical glass. Window glass is wavy, full of ripples, and will induce distortions into your photographs.
You can try it, but don’t expect any good results. Nyx
