Veronica asked: I want to buy my boyfriend a telescope for his birthday. He is turning 25 on Feb 12 and he loves anything that has to do with space and earth. He is a beginner on telescopes, but i want to buy him a really cool one that is easy to use and at a reasonable price. A telescope that you can see the planets with would be nice, like Jupiters rings, and other cool things as well.

AmandaS asked: I was looking at the moon last night through a telescope on my porch and I took a picture, by holding my camera lens up to the lens of the telescope. Im wondering if the picture will come out?
Has anyone ever done this? Seen this? Can you find any examples of this online or in a stock photo?
Thanks.

I have a 60 mm Tasco Luminova telescope with interchangeable eyepieces (25, 12.5 and 4 mm), and a 3.3x Barlow. How do I attach my Canon Powershot S3 IS camera to it?

What’s the cheapest telescope with a camera mount? I want to put a Fujifilm camera on a telescope. Fujifilm cameras work with Nikon lenses. It’s an SLR obviously. I don’t have any specific needs. I want want something fun to play with so I want to spend as little as possible.

freespiritphotography asked: I have a Nikon D70 digital camera. I was told that as long as I had a T-mount, I can use a telescope on my camera. However, the person that told me did not have information as to which telescopes I need to use for my camera. I’ve searched and have come up with nothing. I’m hoping someone knows something about this. {:O)
I’m not looking for anything major as far as telescopes go, the cheaper the better, and the shorter the better. {:O)

DBrain asked:
I recently used my Nikon D40x digital slr camera to take some photos of the full moon with a 200mm telephoto. After that experience, I am interested in purchasing a telescope that I can use along with my Nikon D40x to take even better photos of the moon and other night sky bodies. Can anyone recommend a good telescope that would be good for this purpose. I would prefer to spend well under $1000 for any telescope and gear. Thanks.
