I’m looking for a telescope where portability matters alot, and I want the clearest astro photograph where all the stars appear very sharp like points, and I would like to find some giant exoplanets. Which telescope is best for astrophotograph and for the money? Cassegrain, Reflector or Refractor?

What type of telescope is best for CCD imaging?

With the need for a flat field of view (i.e. coma free), which type of telescope would you choose between an apochromatic refractor (e.g. Meade 5000 or Skywatcher Equinox) or a Maksutov Cassegrain (E.g Skywatcher Skymax Pro)

The refractor might be better because of the clear aperture, the reflector though has the larger aperture.

What type of telescope is best for an amateur astronomer for under £100; reflector or refractor?

I was just wonder what type of telescope would be best. I know that £100 is not going to buy a great telescope but I can’t afford any more at the moment. Thanks

Hi. I’m looking to buy a new telescope. I have alot of money to use so anything up to $1000 will be good. I was just wondering what type of brand I should get and if I should get a reflector or a refractor. I’m looking for one that looks at things outside the solar system (nebula, galxies, etc). So anything that’s like that. Thanks!

How do I take pictures with my telescope?

Hey guys, I have a Celestron Newtonian Telescope, its the 4.5 Reflector. I was just wondering if any of you have any idea how to hook up a camera or use a camera with it? If so , do i need to buy a special camera? Thanks a lot. Can’t wait to take some pics of saturn.
